Here you can see the lock now separated into outer-coat and under-coat. Notice the lack of organized crimp in the under-coat due to the presence of the medullated fibers. Here is a sample of a natural colored Romney fleece with black kemp. Notice the lack of organized crimp due to the presence of the medullated kemp fibers. Raw cashmere fiber.
