My birthday cake. My woolshed / dwelling. In this photo taken before the lockdown, the New Zealand Prime Minister, Jacinda Ardern (center), sits with a long time friend of mine (right), Sally Tahana. Sally, an Anglican priest who just turned 85, celebrated her day at the Golden Shears in early March in Masterton. Sally was the senior wool handler at the first Golden Shears sixty years ago. She owned a large part of the farm I managed from 1964-1974. Here I am outside of the wool shed as a three-year-old on my tricycle.

Here is my drumming circle which is near a 100-year-old pear tree. The original homestead was in the gap behind the Suzuki. The elms on the left are as old as the pear tree.
